Thoughts Throughout the Day (Help Me Understand This... and This... and This...)
During dinner one day, I was reading the directions, warnings, and general labeling of a package of paper towels. (I'm of the nature to read whatever happens to be in front of me, btw.) Help me understand this. This particular brand of papers towels proclaimed the slogan: "Wipes dry fast!"
Do correct me if I'm wrong, but this strikes me as the most ungrammatical sentence. Below is my logic in deconstructing this slogan.
The subject is missing. Add subject: "Towels wipe dry fast!"
....Direct object is missing... "Dry" is place of the direct object?
So what is wiping dry fast? The towels... As they are wiping, the towels dry fast.
Haha, um, that doesn't make sense.
Wait... "Limpia y seca rapidimente"? At least, they used the Spanish correctly.

During another day, I was stocking lovely, scented hygiene products on the shelves. Right beside the space for my product was an after-shower spray for men. Like one of those scented perfumes that is half oil/half smelly. While not noteworthy on its own, the particular flavor of this manly body spray made me do a doubletake.
Ripped Abs. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, Ripped Abs scented body spray. My train of thought naturally went down this track.
What exactly do ripped abs smell like?
Wait a minute. Never mind. I don't want to know!
Ripped abs may look nice, but do they smell nice? Moreover, who would want to smell like ripped abs anyway?
And what happens if saggy geek were to smell of ripped abs?
Wrong! Stopping train now.
I concluded that marketers have thoroughly suckered men into buying beauty products.

During quite another day, I was busying myself with my morning routine.
While washing my hair, I released the shear annoyance of it all. People the world around every day wash the oil from their hair only to slather more oil on in the form of conditioner. Why not just skip washing hair altogether and simply rinse it out?
Moreover, is it just me, or are more and more people washing themselves with food? Have you noticed the flavors of conditions and shampoos? Strawberries and crème smoothie conditioner? Oatmeal bodywash with butter beads? Pomegranate vanilla soap? Lemon lime deodorants? Americans, instead of eating their breakfast, have turned to bathing in it.
Then, while brushing my teeth, it dawned on my that I was in fact rubbing my teeth with plastic and a mild poison (fluoride). This is supposed to be healthy? Sometimes I wonder if people have teeth problems because of toothpaste and not because of cavities. I do wonder...

My finally conclusion of the day has come to me. Only a person with absolutely no life notices this kind of things, or moreover takes the time to right a post about them. Aren't the fruits of summer vacation grand?

Getting cooler there?! Whoops … that’s a piece of good news then ^_^ hey my friend I’ve heard that (when I was traveling by bus … yea and there were monitors showing programs exclusively for bus advertisement and some other broadcast entertainment like usual televisions do) soon the earth would had its global temperature turning upon 16 degrees … and when it’s at this point … it meant this would be the end of our world … I don’t know if it’s true but .. I guess believing it sounds better than not … don’t’ you think that the earth’s getting hotter and hotter each day? This is what I worry pretty much these days but I know I just can help a little, for I’m just a little mortal … an individual and that’s all … it seems I can do so little stuff that doesn’t help much at all in the whole case … *sighs* I don’t’ even know why humans don’t’ know they’re about to face an ordeal … that’s related to the entire environment and still most of them just think oh well it’s nothing significant and it’s not my business at all … how come I have to pay attention to it ?? there will be some people who’re responsible for dealing with this for us … it’s no use for us these people to get in the assistance … well I don’t’ quite stand with it at all for sure … but … so what can help by then to save our earth together?! Seems … the problem is that … people themselves don’t know what’s going on at all and they think they share no responsibility in saving our earth!! Make-up? Why? Lol you will get many points to stand against the stance that those women prefer make-up to real countenance? Hah I don’t mind my girlfriend to have make-up actually, but just not too much and that’s great after all … I mean … real countenance is great and ultimately beautiful … but … somehow appropriate make-up can mean … for example, the girl takes the dating serious ^_^ she’s trying to show respect to the one whom she dates with haha XD yea and so many other things involved hmm … so I don’t mind my girlfriend to have little make-up … hhah XD perhaps it will even be more beautiful lol … sorry sounds a little bit pragmatic huh? XD it’s what boys think … anyway, I agree with one thing … nature is beauty … ^_^ Oh my friend guess what, thanks for the luck!! I’ve got the result of the last semester and … well I didn’t score any A but … most of the subjects were scored with a little lower than an A .. yea most of them are A-minuses. Thankfully I can still score more than 3.5 out of 4 in this semester’s GPA … with the cumulative GPA more than 3.5 as well .. yea! Guess what I scored a distinction in the college … !! President’s honors roll! I can’t believe it and God indeed listens to my prayers .. it’s not that He listened to my prayers but He listens to my prayers!! Well perhaps He finds it’s so annoying that I always begs Him for blablabla and He wanna shut my mouth up … lol XD and finally … I can be promoted to an undergraduate program … yea and I indeed now can study the bachelor of social science, organizational communication (Hons) in Hong Kong Baptist University! Yoyo~ *victory-sign and high-fives* But the way, another piece of good news … I’m now getting into the way that I can memorize the piano pieces … I don’t’ know whether I’m attempting the correct way in memorizing .. but the result is … I can memorize them lol … your suggestion is great!

Thats not completely true my friend, you still have a life and more over it just means you think too much. Somethings in life should be taken at face value , like cleaning products for men. Note I once used one called "Phoenix" now I'm pretty sure a phoenix really smells like ashes and trees, but that was not me. Thanks for the crituqe! ^_^ it gave me some new ideas actually, so how's life thus far, enjoying work or just shocked? If one thinks they have no life wait until they watch "Degrassi" so often they had emotional connections to people they hate (I did this not too long ago during my down time)
